Your 6-Day Main Salmon River Rafting Experience
How It Works
Step 1:
Book Your Trip
Choose one of our 6-day / 5-night Main Salmon River expeditions. Once you’re signed up, we’ll send you a detailed packing list and trip info so you’ll feel prepared from the start.
Step 2:
Meet at the River
Your journey begins in Salmon, Idaho, where our guides will greet you and help with last-minute gear checks. From there, we shuttle you to the river launch — and the adventure begins!
Step 3:
Days on the River
Each day brings a mix of thrilling whitewater, calm stretches for swimming and soaking in the scenery, along with side hikes, historic sites, and canyon overlooks. Our guides row gear boats while you can paddle, relax, or hop on an oar rig. By afternoon, we’ll arrive at a new riverside camp where tents are ready, dinner is cooking, and the evening is yours to explore, unwind, or simply enjoy the stars.
Step 4:
Camps
Camps are set up on sandy beaches or under shady ponderosas, with plenty of space to relax!
Step 5:
Meals
You’ll be amazed at what we can cook on the river. From fresh breakfasts to hearty dinners, all meals are prepared by our guides and enjoyed family-style.
Step 6:
The Take-Out
On the final day, we’ll float to the river take-out, pack up, and shuttle you back to town — tired, happy, and already planning your next adventure!
